Gareth Main - September 2015
Gareth's first show back on Dandelion in two years takes in an hour of interesting vinyl records, from the Bollywood madness of Behroze Chatterjee, to the raw Devon-based desert rock of Henry Blacker, via modern German-based afrobeat from the magnificent Onom Agemo and the Disco Jumpers.
Also on the show, we've got a couple of older records, including Mark Professor's ode to London public transport, Trunk's recent release of Alan Jefferson's Hull-based sci-fi opera, and an extraordinarily funky slice of afro-disco from Sookie.
Elsewhere we take in Golden Teacher's collaboration with dub legend Dennis Bovell, an old track from Wigan's Nancy Elizabeth, and gorgeous dub from Brittany's Stand High Patrol.

Kevin Robinson - September 2015
In the record box for September we once again have the mighty Sherwood At The Controls compilation which includes Peel favourites The Slits. Also on the pile, classic reggae from Byron Lee & The Dragonaires and Prince Jammy, and lost post-punk treasure from Bamboo Zoo.
Elsewhere Happa samples some Fall, there's eerie drum 'n' bass from Biostacis and electronic sounds from Aisha Devi. In addition, there's new material from Shellac-do-techno Melbourne band My Disco, bizarre new electro-rockabilly from Changchun's Gui Gui Sui Sui, a typically hyperactive riotous sound from London's Frau, plus tracks from the upcoming Girl Band and Sealings albums.
Listeners who collected those Dreamscape mixtape box sets from the 90's may appreciate the vintage jungle and hardcore vibe of the new records from Dead Man's Chest, Ipman and Detboi.
We have a track from the beguiling album from Annabel (lee), released in conjunction with the Save Soho campaign, plus there's weird and wonderful work from Norway's Benjamin Finger, Rayleigh's Liberez and Laura Cannell from rural East Anglia.

Lee Adcock - September 2015
By the time you read this, I'll be settled in the CDC and chasing after researchers for their success stories. Meanwhile, I've been scanning coffee shop walls, scouting out venues, poking through local records. Once a music junkie, always a music junkie, eh?
And thus, I'm pleased to report that I've found plenty of radical goods for your consumption. There's skull-smashing slabs a-plenty, like Guttersnipe, Destruction Unit, and Le Butcherettes; there's bliss from Two White Cranes, Flying Saucer Attack, and Nicolas Jaar; and there's sensual sweat jams from Georgia and ABRA. Give a round of applause for returning Dandelion champs Laurence Made Me Cry and Dementio13, tilt your head at the familiar faces from Helen, and do say hello to the Holy Motors, who will likely be back again soon. Also, our own Rocker has a super fun Flatmates single to share, which you'll no doubt hear zillions of times this month, but we're sure you won't mind. Plus, mos def more Seven Davis Jr., cos YOU AREN'T DANCING YET.
Also, ladies and gents, the one and only Frog have blessed us with a four-track session! And they've given us a track called "Expiration Dating"! What's not to love?!

This month has a bit of a favourite of mine, Mallard The Wonderdog, in session. It was recorded at Haiku Salut's album launch at the brilliant Voicebox in Derby on 7th August.
There's other music from the likes of Roots Manuva, Biscuit Mouth and Rude Rose. There's a wonderful track from the always reliable Throwing Snow. Baile Funk comes at you right from the favela and there's some brand new Japanese folk music. JME pops up with his new mixtape and has an old friend along to the party and lola demo is back with another slice from the party.

Mark Rosney - September 2015
We had the terrible news that Mark Rosney died in August 2015. Mark was one of the founders of Dandelion Radio and made shows during the first two years.
As a tribute we are broadcasting his last show again. You can find the full set of his shows on MixCloud via his DJ page.
In this particular show Mark plays music by artists as diverse as Lord Numb, Lauren, Graystar and One More Grain (amongst others).
Also included in this hour long weirdfest is an amazing session by Rachel and the Lawngrower specially recorded for the show, and a bunch of talented shouting people from Westward Ho! - which incidentally is the only place name in the UK with an exclamation mark at the end of it's name, and also home to the rudest shop assistant in the known universe.
So, turn down the lights, fill your bath with blue smarties and post your underpants to some random person in the phone book - or alternatively, tune in and listen to the music instead.

Much-loved Isle of Man band Postcode are the latest making their session debut for the show this month. Along with an exclusive five tracks from them, you can also feast your ears on a dollop of new releases from the likes of Battles, Venetian Snares, Dirt Cheap Date and UFO Sex Scene.
Having neglected the Budapest scene of late, we put that right in some style with a track from the magnificent Ceh. You can also check out Serbia's Rawbutt, Brazil's Chapa Mamba and Australians Red Red Krovvy while, from closer to home, Long Hat Pins pops up with yet another irresistible release, The Pocket Gods fire on all cylinders with a cracking new mix of a much-loved old song and The Flatmates succeed where so many fail with a cover of a Prince tune.
And you can add to all that a couple of great cassette releases, from The Vermins and Poppyno-good, a sublime live recording from Laurence Made Me Cry, a specially extended Peel Back... feature and a track from a Toxic Chicken & Joel Nobody release they've loving dedicated to the latter's granny.

Pete Jackson - September 2015
September is always an exciting month as it features the annual Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia (warning - their web site autoplays ... loud), so expect more than a little psych action, including tracks from festival acts Tess Parks and Anton Newcombe and The Cult of Dom Keller among others, plus a 20-odd minute wig-out from legends The Bevis Fronds.
If that doesn't keep your boat afloat, then there's live reggae, industrial, hip hop and bluegrass, and a bunch of cassette-only punk gems from the 1990s.

Rocker - September 2015
As usual a three hour show, including a featured album from The Spook School, and new tracks from Thee AHs; Beds In Parks; Grubs; The Spectres; The Aerosol Burns; Ghost Car; Bunnygrunt; Tymon Dogg; Worriers; Mammoth Penguins; Dead Hope; Royal Headache; Expert Alterations; Low; and Shit Present.
There's electronica from Vamos Art; Luca Ballerini; Steve Parker; Stephan Bodzin; and Camelphat.
The Ian Duncan Smiths give a topical twist to an 80s classic, while Martha bemoan their ineligibility for the winter fuel allowance, and The Most Dangerous Man In Britain starts the show.
This month's Peel's Big 45 is a 1972 release on John Peel's own Dandelion Record label, and this month's Educating Elizabeth record is a deep soul track recorded in the early 1970s, but only released in 2010.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: "Stephan Bodzin's track 'Lila', from his current 'Powers Of Ten' album, is named after his daughter".

Sean Hocking - September 2015
There are two shows from me this month.
My regular show starts with some great grime from Novelist who still seems to be flavor of the month. I love Novelist as much for his name as for his music, it seems a particularly British thing to call yourself Novelist when you make music.
On the show also this month some new Asia based artists, David Boring from Hong Kong and Indonesians Kelompok Penerbang Roket too. On the electronic side of things there's Iceland's Bjarki who's written a song describing the state of my grey matter after nigh on a decade in Hong Kong. Also tracks from The Italoboyz ,Aisha Devi, London's Warboy and Kahn with his rather terrifying, and rightly so, track entitled Abattoir.
We've also go some seventies Australian Boogie Blues, some very strange San Francisco punks live at San Quentin and two great new singer songwriters; one from Manchester the other from New York.
You will, of course, have to listen to find out more.
This show is augmented with an extra 1 hour special of ambient-ish music.

Sean Hocking's Ambient Special - September 2015
Thanks for listening to another of my one hour specials. In the past you've had to listen to Australian 80's indie and other rather noisy choices so this time I thought let's have something a bit calmer.
In this selection I've tried within the space of an hour to include a range of artists who've made quieter music that isn't necessarily ambient, folk or new age.
From the Metal Postcard stable we've got Celery, from the fabulous RVNG label based in New York something by Ariel Kalma and what would a quieter side of things show be without the one and only Brian Eno
Enjoy the peace and quiet as I thing I'll entitle the next 1 hour special "Terror Noise"!
Elsewhere in the schedule you will find my regular show.
