Kevin Robinson - November 2015
This month is mostly about new music from (deep breath) Pill, The Comet Is Coming, Sealings, The Bug, Rats On Rafts, Actual Crimes, Vertical Slump, Dan Friel, DJ Madd, DJ Paypal.and DJ Spinn.
There's noisy and triumphant queer pop from Edinburgh's The Spook School, Big Black sampling electropunk from Powell, West Coast sound system heavyweights from Portland E3, new electronica from Cologne's Senking, Liz Harris of Grouper's new band Helen, Ghanaian xylophonist SK Kakraba, Memphis punks Nots, South African composer Cara Stacey and the title track from the new Visionist album on PAN.
Music from the archives comes from Kerry Leimer's 80s Savant project, On-U-Sound re-releases from Singers and Players and The Missing Brazilians, the 1979 Peel Session from UK reggae legends Capital Letters and another punishing new reissue from Muslimgauze.
We end November with a gorgeous Captain Beefheart cover from Seventeen Evergreen.

Lee Adcock - November 2015
How is it now November? How is this year ending just as my new life begins? In the daytime, I descend into the bunker of the museum and steam black tableclothes; on Friday nights I collect glasses from folks that dine under dinosaur skeletons. I am in and out of the world.
You, as the loyal Dandelion listening public, have a duty this month to vote for your favorite tracks of the year. I don't know how much I can advise your vote, but I can offer what I've been catching up with - like the righteous Sauna Youth, the discomboluated mundane of Helm, the billowy textiles of Lakker, sublime frequencies from Ela Orleans, and a disorienting headfuck from the otherwise heavenly Joanne Robertson. Also, for the hell of it, I've thrown in something from Detective Instinct, which isn't from this year at all, but I'm falling fast for this surrealist racket, so you're going to hear it anyway.
Just to prove that I am on the cutting edge of new, gnash your teeth on nasty stuff from Kowloon Walled City and Corrections House, a comp from John Peel's hometown, lovely solo confessions from Sourpatch solo project Try the Pie, new wave rhythm from LeRoy, a wondrous found sound collage from Asuna, endearing lullabies from The Chills, and two vastly different reissues.
Finally, in case I haven't screwed with your head enough, we close this evening with as much pure drone from Mats Gustafsson as I could possibly cram in.

Mark Cunliffe - November 2015
No session this month but there are 47 tunes crammed in to make up for it.
A wonderful track opens the show from Jerusalem In My Heart and is followed up by a much different but equally ace BrainDeaD effort. There's Jamaican vibes from Alkaline and a take on David Cameron's recent issue from Smith's tribute band The Iain Duncan Smith's.
We have baile funk straight from the favela and more grime from stalwart JME. There's a track from Toddler Tiger, it's the niche genre, bubble bass and it's ace. There's loads of moombahton this month, gone a bit moombahton crazy to be honest. Why not?

Mark Whitby - November 2015
Session guests Anonymous Bosch are among a number of show favourites popping up in a November show that also showcases new tunes from the likes of Hehfu, Lee Negin and Guerilla Toss, the last of these providing one of several cassette releases in a year that has been very much enriched by the format. Other tunes culled from these awkwardly designed bits of plastic include something from Life Like Thunderstorms and one apiece from a delightfully noisy split cass-EP featuring Pathetic Human and Collapsed Toilet Vietnam.
There's plenty of vinyl too, of course, including magnificent 12-inchers from Gathaspar, Shackleton and Nicolas Jaar and a split 7" featuring Clinic and Sex Swing. This month's featured compilation comes from 'Trevor Jackson Presents: Science Fiction Dancehall Classics' a collection of marvellous On-U-Sound tunes; there's a glimpse also of the Scotland/Belize/Ghana LP from The Green Door All-Stars, something from the best Cocorosie album for years and a preview of the Nine Tons album set for release in January 2016.
And, this being the month of Festive Fifty voting here at Dandelion, we Peel Back... to what John Peel was up to roughly forty years ago and pick out three selections from his fifteen favourite singles of 1975.

Pete Jackson - November 2015
Very much a Liverpool PsychFest-inspired show this month, with 4 cuts taken from the festival's triple album compilation alongside tunes from some of this year's best acts Dead Sea Apes and Spiritualised. Elsewhere there's new music from a pretty international selection, including Italy's Sultan Bathery and Mamuthones, Japan's Shotgun Runners, Indulgent and Tamed Animals from the good ol' US of A and an awesome cut from Brazil released on a Portugese label to get things started.
You'll also find sounds from show favourites Nosferatu D2 and The Blue Giant Zeta Puppies thrown in for good measure alongside a guest appearance from Chasms/Sandfingers/Twice Dead etc (!) vocalist Mike Seed.

Rocker - November 2015
Another three hour show of new music from all around the globe. There's new tracks from Penetration; The Spook School; Hethers (formerly Heathers); Cougar Vox; The Shifting Sands; Skinny Girl Diet; Plume Of Feathers; The Keep Left Signs; The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart; Burnt Palms; Shit Present; Thee AHs; Royal Headache; Knife Pleats and Bodyheat.
There's electronica from Stephan Bodzin; Solee; Axom and Zombies In Miami.
There's a feature on Market Square Records, of Billingshurst West Sussex, featuring new 7"s from The Belltowers; The Fallen Leaves; The Wrong Society and label boss Paul Messis.
This month's Peel's Big 45 is a 1972 release on John Peel's own Dandelion Record label, and this month's Educating Elizabeth record is a soul classic from 1966.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: Sailor Moon was a Japanese anime television series which ran from 1992 to 1997, and was widely licensed by TV stations around the globe, becoming one of the most successful Japanese media franchises of all time.

Sean Hocking - November 2015
Penultimate show of the year and it's taken over with a lot of the more recent sounds of Grime and Bristol influences. Peckham's wonderful Gobstopper Records run by Mr Mitch has really caught my attention since the summer and I love virtually everything he's released on the label. Especially on the ambient side I hear a very British linear narrative that has brought everything from Eno, Pink Floyd and the Orb right up to date and, apart from the Sleaford Mods, it's the most exciting thing I've heard in UK music in a long time. The Loom and Iglew EPs have me entranced.
In a similar vein there is Sweden's Gidge as well as Bristol's Vessel and that Kingdom EP is a killer too.
Also on the show yet another airing for the wonderful Ezra Furman. His songs just get better and better with each listen, and an oldie from Julian Cope, yet again he's always about 10 years ahead of the curve with songs like "Preaching Revolution".
Perth electronic outsiders Erasers have released their debut album on NYC label Pouring Dream and if there are any left grab a copy asap as there are only a 100 or so. For me they have that singular aesthetic of the XX and that as we all know comes along rarely.
Finally talking of singular aesthetics, London's Ten Benson are back and in fine form with their new digital only single Mud Man. I'm praying there is a album in the pipeline. Oh ... how i missed them.
