The Beatbox Saboteurs Show - October 2018
October is here and much to the delight of Skreen and Mr Blu, the goths are re-inheriting the world. As such, this month's two hour show is buried with dark delights from Musta Paraati, Rachel M & Ceri Davies, Shock Therapy, Graphix, Taurus 1984, The Satellites and Fear Is The Liar.
The experimental theme from last month continues with a terrifically unnerving mix of Elizabeth Joan Kelly, Whettman Chelmets and Xqui. Once again there are lots of spine-tingling new releases including Clara Engel, Guitar PK, Emika, Neville & Sugary Staple ft Roddy Radiation and New Apostles.
There's also a great new discovery in the form of LegPuppy, a little lightness from Elefant Record's Lia Pamina & Dario Persi, plus more from the mesmerising Ashley Reaks & Joe Hakim album.
Keeping with the vague Halloween tone, you'll hear plenty of corpsing from your hosts, a layering of old classics, a world exclusive, a car horn and a deft splattering of tunes from the Damaged Goods 30th Anniversary album.
Trust us, you'll be spoilt rotten!

Gareth Jones - October 2018
For my October show I'm bringing you a heap of musical tricks and treats with my super scary Halloween spooktacular. You'll be in grave danger of hearing deathly new songs from Mark Sultan and Fascinating and be haunted by a new track from Ghost Thoughts. There are four scary 'Secret Songs from the Sixties' and two terrifying tracks from horror films in 'Soundtracks of the Strange'...
This month there's also a Halloween mix in the 2nd hour containing spooky songs from the likes of The Lovely Eggs, The Wendy Darlings and The Slickee Boys.
Plus there are four creepy cover versions including a bluegrass version of 'Monster Mash' from Hayseed Dixie and a reggae version of 'Thriller' by Easy Star All-Stars.
All this plus non-Halloween new releases from Guerilla Toss and The Last Detail.

Mark Cunliffe - October 2018
Well ... the quality of the music on offer shows this year no sign of abating, unless you listen to a good chunk of the last Mercury Prize nominees then you might feel music is in a bit of crisis ... lets move on ...
On my October show there is some Sleaford Mods, good to hear some new stuff from them again. I'm still continuing to rinse Mr Vegas's new album, it is choc full of gems it has to be said. Dat Boi is a new grime artist on me and his debut EP is immense.
There is an unbelievably good new EP out from bass producers JV & PALF and I'm playing a track from it, as well as Islandic singer JFDR, she gets a spin of her new release cos it's a beauty.
To be honest, I loved putting together this show, such ace stuff out there, too much to list. Hope you agree!

So many great releases coming through at the moment it's hard to cram them all into a single show but we've given it a go to come up with three hours that include, among other things, tracks from new albums from BEAK>, Vert:x, Binidu, Cloudwarmer and Picturebox. There's also something else from the new Guerilla Toss album and new singles from Accu, Des Turner and Jangly Mark & The Benefits.
Gratifyingly, excellent cassette releases continue to pile up and we dig into that pile to bring you tracks from Leche and Science Man, while releases from the past make an appearance in the form of an excellent compilation of Dutch cassette tracks from the Knekelhuis label, one of two featured compilations in the show this month; the other is the eighth volume in the Ethnostep series from Germany's Subbass label.
We've also got tracks from recently released collections featuring Uganda's Ekuku Moriss Sirikiti and Dur-Dur Band from Somalia while our Peel Back... feature digs into the past to reveal classic session tracks from the John Peel archives of 40, 30 and 20 years ago this month.

Lots of new tunes from big names this month, includimg Aphex Twin, Mogwai, The Wedding Present and Mudhoney.
The Wedding Present are tackling a Take That number, in fact - and that isn't the oddest cover in the show, even.
There's plenty of international action, including Turkey's Altin Gün, Somalia's Dur-Dur Band, Wales' Breichiau Hir, Italy's JH Guraj and the brilliantly-named Nigerians General Franco Lee Ezute And His Harmony International Band.
There's also some classic tunes from the past (also a foreign country, they'd have you believe) from the likes of Jethro Tull, Black Flag, The Lucid Dream and Magazine.

Rocker - October 2018
A three hour show this month, no sessions, but a featured album from The Nightingales. There's also new tracks from Dark Thoughts; Blue Orchids; Girl One & The Grease Guns; Gymshorts; Papercuts; Avishay; Shannen Moser; Corner Boys; Official War Artist; Kinky; The Beths; The Just Joans and Ghost Thoughts.
This month's electronica comes from Facundo Mohrr; Claptone & Zola Blood remixed by Eagles & Butterflies; Moguai & Raumakustik and George Fitzgerald remixed by Lane 8.
This month's Rocker's Shellac Attack is a raunchy little number from 1950 out of Kansas City, while this month's Educating Elizabeth track is from a brand new release on Daptone offshoot Dunham Records..
As well as little known acts, here's this month's little known fact: Moguai & Raumakustik's 'The Greatest Speech' samples heavily from what was probably Charlie Chaplin's finest hour, the victory speech from the climax of the 1940 movie 'The Great Dictator'.

Sean Hocking - October 2018
Three hours of fun from me this month. So much great music I can hardly keep up. London serves us Teleman, Sports Team & Gaika. Further afield in the UK we have new albums from Gazelle Twin & Thom Yorke and the first solo release from Brian Bordello, something new from Forest Swords ... oh and of course we have to feature something off the Idles album which gather has headed up the UK charts.
Over the pond in the land of the orange man we are hearing more and more music that reflects what's going on in the land of the free. Lonnie Holley's, I Woke Up In A Fucked America, says it fairly succinctly. We've also got new tunes from Brooklyn's Bodega and Boston's Mr Airplane Man and a wonderful oldie from the early 1990's by Wingtip Sloat out of North Carolina covering the Clean's, "Anything Can Happen".
We've also got some Somalian 70s funk, a new one from The Orb that isn't like anything we've heard from them before, new Metal Postcard artist, Lou Terry and some Italian Rock 'n' Roll from the 60s to boot.
Thanks for listening and don't forget to start thinking about your Festive 50 choices, Gaika, The Chats and Sports Team are topping our list for the year so far.

Thomas Blatchford - October 2018
It's October, and have we got a show for you! Yeah of course we do, that's the entire point of me writing this. Having resisted the temptation to just play the new Mariah Carey single thirty times (it's really great), Thomas has instead filled a strong 7170 seconds with mostly new music. When there is a dip back in time, it's for a bit of cowboy couture, French-Caribbean partying, dance crazes, and a song about putting a strain on the NHS.
Otherwise there's new records from Shrimpwitch (the sequel to the first song Thomas ever played on Dandelion), Big Joanie (from their massively anticipated debut album), Fritz (just in time for this hemisphere's summer), Ruby Fields (a song about liking dinosaurs but hating spiders) and a shedload more, plus re-releases from Waak Waak Djungi, Ergo Phizmiz, Sydney Lèrèmon Et Ses Amis Du Calvaire Baie-Mahault (ooh la la), and Asnakech Worku.
Not only that, but yes, I have new bumpers! Maybe I'll even have a session for you someday. Whammo, baby!

Trev - October 2018
It's been a year since I joined the Dandelion Radio crew and it's been great fun making the shows.
I hope you've had a chance to listen and hopefully enjoy the shows I've thrown together. This month it's just a 1 hour show due to 'real life' getting in the way. I've tried to cram the hour with exciting new music - so you can expect pop-punk from Bad Moves and Fightmilk, electronic stuff from Jeswa, Jon Fay and Watkins/Peacock.
Indiepop comes from Australia's Ocean Party and The Reds, Pinks & Purples from San Francisco in the US. There is a blast of death metal from Beggin' For Oxys and 'Awkward gubbins' (Trademark, Me) this month comes from Wales, with Chow Mwng.
Hopefully back up to full speed next month as there is a lot of new stuff I couldn't cram into this months truncated show!
