Andrew Morrison - November 2020
Andy's November show comprises more than twenty tunes in 120 minutes, including Bdrmm, Skuldpadda, Death Of Youth, and Brutalist. Desperate Journalist contribute a fine Pulp cover version, plus there's brand new releases from Ghostlawns, Daniel Maunick, Bicep, HMS Morris, Jneiro Jarel, and former session guests The Metatrons. You'll also hear a previously unheard demo taken from New Order's new 'Definitive Edition' of their seminal 1983 album 'Power, Corruption & Lies', as well as an Andy's Old Chestnut from fellow Mancunians 808 State that still sounds fresh after over three decades! Also listen in for details of how to vote your three favourite tracks of the year in the upcoming official 2020 Festive Fifty end-of-year listeners' poll!

Brownbutter - November 2020
Brownbutter makes his Dandelion Radio debut with 2 hours of music selected to make you feel in easy momentum for November, a feeling that can be hard to find when you're mostly indoors, while also expressing the tensions, frustrations and melancholy you too might be feeling right now as we lumber awkwardly into the holiday season.
Shake the dust off, zhuzh your hair, make yourself smell good, whip out the pastries and mix-up the cocktails, because we're going to take a 28 song pudding-shake through 72 years of music across 4 continents, genre-blind and put together to make you feel good.
Lots of new music from mr. Gnome, Art Feynman, Sparks, Marlowe, Osees, Will Johnson, Undergrünnen and more, a classic John Lee Hooker track, a tribute to Unwound's Vern Rumsey, and not one but two albums that sat on the shelf for years (one for 11 years and the other for 47 years!) before finally seeing release.
The first hour swings and shakes while hour two brings the skronk and swagger.

Gareth Jones - November 2020
Remember, remember, Gareth's show in November. Get the month going with a bang as he brings you 2 hours of tunes old and new to light up your dark days.
This month's edition of 'Secret Songs from the Sixties' features two cuts from 'Fast Jivin' Class Cutters High On Booze', the latest double CD on the Righteous label featuring songs taken from the record collection of Lux & Ivy (The Cramps). Gareth also attempts to cheer up those who've been locked down in Wales with new releases from Cardiff's Ghostlawns and HMS Morris, plus Swansea's The Rusty Nutz and Helen Love. They'll make your heart go boom.
Then in the 2nd hour, the show rockets onto another musical planet with the cosmic sounds of electronic duo The Galaxy Electric. They'll take part in the occasional feature 'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue'. Appealing to fans of Broadcast and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, this New York pair introduce two tracks taken from their new album 'Tomorrow Was Better Yesterday', plus pick four songs of their choice, including a mind-expanding piece of experimental electronic sound by Lisa Bella Donna which clocks in at 13 minutes long!
So be prepared for an explosive audio experience.

Jeff Grainger on FSK - November 2020
In his first Show for FSK, Dandelion Radio's Jeff Grainger presents a multi genre show of music from artists all over the world, featuring many fine acts he's discovered during his time as a Dandelion Radio DJ and lesser known bands from his hometown of Manchester.
Although 2020 has been pretty miserable, to say the least, it has produced some fantastic music, so Jeff will be taking this opportunity to play some of his personal highlights of the year.
Thanks for tuning in.
Leo Gilbert - November 2020
A particularly packed 240 minutes from Leo this month, with 48 tunes from around the globe and across the musical spectrum. Over half the tunes are from artists he has never played before, so there is a chance you might be yet to discover them, too.
How about these for a few names to conjure with? Rian Treanor, Luke Abbott, The Wytches, Gaby Moreno, Eartheater, Mary Lattimore, Sault, The Lemongelli and Divide and Dissolve.
Then there are the more established acts who melt Leo’s mind with every release: King Creosote, Black Wing, Hudson Mohawke, Oliver Coates, Bicep, IDLES, Girl Band, Surfbort and more.
Leo is also awfully Autechred up, tossing two tunes from their brand new album into the mix.
An unmissable mêlée? You bet!

Mark Cunliffe - November 2020
So, while you think about what you might vote for in the Festive 50 for this year you can listen along to my offering for November, the month you can vote in.
Dizzee Rascal gets a fabulous garage re-work and Sidi Touré has a fine album out to pick off. There's more lathe cut madness, only 34 copies, from Drumterror & Photes and it's proper grime business while The Allergies have another banger to throw at us.
There is some funky shenanigans from The King Rooster and Nah Eeto has a new one out.

Mark Cunliffe on FSK - November 2020
Following on from the first show submitted by DJ's stationed at the UK-based, John Peel-influenced, Dandelion Radio, Mark Cunliffe provides the second for November.
It is a show that is a journey through genres. You could go from the favela in Brazil with some baile funk to some Malian desert blues.
There might be reggae followed up with dark techno or minimal house to some grindcore. It's all mostly new or new to Mark at least, with a little indulgence with the odd nod to the past.

Mark Whitby on FSK - November 2020
In this first show on FSK from DJs from the UK-based John Peel-influenced Dandelion Radio, Mark Whitby concentrates mainly on new music that is often unfairly ignored, overlooked or sometimes simply unreleased, but don't be surprised if you hear an occasional nugget from the past too.
Among other things, this month there'll be some fascinating Welsh language releases, some interesting things coming out of Japan and something new from the excellent Vert:x.
Pete Jackson - November 2020
Pete's show this month starts and ends with a song from 1968, both celebrating recently-deceased sonic pioneers; one performed by Simeon Coxe, the other produced by Bunny 'Striker' Lee.
There are newer tunes, of course, from old pals DXIII, Sh*t & Sh*ne, MUGSTAR and Jumble Hole Clough as well as newer kids on the block Frankie And The Witch Fingers, Alien Mustangs, Mrs Piss and Melt Yourself Down.
There's a huge amount of excitement generated by the thought of The Chasms remixing Vert:x and much scratching of heads about the true identity of Lambdog, and not one but two records from the first half of the 20th century. But only one of them is sung in Finnish.

Rocker - November 2020
This month's three hour show from Rocker squeezes in a mammoth 54 tracks, including new music from Kiwi Jr; Neutrals; The Slugs; Cheap Meat; Lavender Blush; Aaron Frazer; The Luxembourg Signal; Milky Wimpshake; Stupid Bitch & The Dumb Cunts; The Total Rejection; Fixtures; Hamburger; Zig Zag; All Ashore!; Pardon Us; Arrest! Charlie Tipper; Barry; Xylitol; The Manges; The Drain On The Balcony; Swansea Sound; The Flatmates; The William Loveday Intention; and Chelsea Bombs.
There's electronica from Magdalena; Hyph11E remixed by Kode9 and Philipp Gorbachev remixed by Barnt. There's also several new collaborations - Helen McCookerybook teams up with Robert Rotifer; Murray Lachlan Young joins Blabbermouth and Mick Jones channels his inner Oscar Wilde with Primitive Ignorant.
This month's Rocker's Shellac Attack is a 1956 country song, while this month's Educating Elizabeth record is from 1964.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: The UK has 2,300 miles of Motorways.

Sean Hocking - November 2020
Welcome back for the penultimate show of the year, full of goodies, mostly recently released.
Standouts for me this month are SORBET a new project from producer, drummer & vocalist Chris W Ryan (Robocobra Quartet), Dennis Cometti out of Perth singing the praises of their great state, two new ones from Texas' Legless Crabs ahead of their new album, Mallorquín's In the Last Place on Earth EP on the Palms & Charms label out of Tokyo and Hong Kong, The Orb covering The Stooges' No Fun, in the style of the Pistols and Residents bod Hardy Fox aka Charles Bobuck covering Dylan's Memphis Blues Again.
We've also got something off the new Fleet Foxes album, Tel Aviv outfit Red Axes, Canadian collective Chong Wizard and of course the new one from Woog Riots with their contender for song of the year.

Sean Hocking on FSK - November 2020
It's the first show on FSK from Dandelion Radio's "Ring of Fire" presented by Sean Hocking. Sean was an avid John Peel in the late 1970's through till the end and does his best to keep the John Peel aesthetic throughout the show, not too much talking, lots of different music and no fear of making mistakes!
The first Ring of Fire show for FSK will bring you our favourites from 2020, probably not all of them as I'd need around six hours to do that but as much as we can. When people look back at 2020 music they'll be amazed by the variety and the passion and I look forward to sharing some of that with you via Ring of Fire.
Thomas Blatchford - November 2020
It's November and therefore time to submit your vote for the Festive Fifty 2020, in a year which will surely be remembered first and foremost for its great music ...
Thomas has some songs for your voting consideration including recent singles by Narli, Nooky, Zig Zag, The Cool Greenhouse, RYL0 and more, plus some highly ineligible old tunes by The Exterminators, The Bunny Lee Allstars and Kid Carpet with a tribute to Van Halen (and Ivor Cutler).
Meanwhile, Deerhoof do a one-second cover of Gary Numan's "Cars" (sort of), Codex Machine provide a nod to Toots Hibbert left over from last month, Mad Professor celebrates 40 years in the dub biz, and…well, Thomas celebrates three years on Dandelion. Thank you if you've listened to any of it!
