Andrew Morrison - November 2019
Andy's two-hour November show features recent releases from multiple acts including M. Rexen, Georgia, Ezra Furman, Human Don't Be Angry, Eli Moon, Lust For Youth, Exit Kid and DJ Shadow. You'll hear tracks from two albums Andy's been eagerly anticipating: Lingua Nada's 'Djinn' on the always excellent Kapitan Platte label, and the warm deep house grooves of 'Macumba Quebrada' by Daniel Maunick.

An 'Andy's Old Chestnut' appears in the form of an ultra-rare recording one of Andy's favourite bands The Fatima Mansions, taken from a radio-only promo CD of a live performance in New York back from 1994. Also listen in to find out how to vote your three favourite tracks of the year in the official 2019 Festive Fifty!

The Beatbox Saboteurs Show - November 2019
November's show is a bit of a pre-festive season cracker, including recent releases from Useless Cities, New Wolves, Kanga, Piss Factory, Ebony Steel Band and Alice Hubble.
There's a thumper from DJ Reign, plus some stunningly beautiful tracks from Kyenord and Become The Sky and a first dip into the new album by The Equatorial Group.
There's even time for a 'Merriman Moment' and a spin of our latest Life As Surface Noise single.

Mark Whitby - November 2019
This month, we split, garble and occasionally mispronounce our way through a selection of mainly recent releases, plus a few that slipped through the net earlier in the year and just had to be included before we bid goodbye to 2019. Among them is another 20-minute cacophony of brilliance from the mesmerising Cyanide Tooth - this time captured live in rehearsal - and a box set of 7" singles from Congo, highlights from which form this month's featured compilation.
We find several long-standing favourites in fine fettle. There's the much-anticipated solo album from Kim Gordon, for instance, plus new albums from Moddi and Angel Olsen and a fine 'lost' release from The Bordellos.
We've got a couple of excellent promo cassettes courtesy of Nosferatu and The Investment alongside other cracking show debuts from Spelterini, Kim Hon and A. Moss. And where else are you going to find a lost track from The Carter Family followed by a Dead Kennedys classic? The latter forms part of a brief Peel Back... celebration of the festive fifty from forty years ago in what is, you'll already be aware, voting month in this year's Festive Fifty.

Rocker - November 2019
This month we bring you three hours of fresh sounds, including new tracks from Rocketship; The Tubs; Neil Young & Crazy Horse; The Science Of Words; Lee 'Scratch' Perry; Grrrl Gang; Ex-Vöid; Soot Sprite; Mitch Benn; Comet Gain; Burger Chef; Jangly Mark; Acid Barretts; Neighborhood Brats; Studio Electrophonique and vBoyracer.
There's electronica from Fort Romeau; Johannes Brecht; Max Cooper and Joris Voorn. Jowe Head & The Fleeting Glimpses cover The Modern Lovers, while Melt-Banana give The Damned a good thrashing. Courtney Barnett covers labelmates Loose Tooth; and Blue Orchids give us their version of a song by The Growlers.
This month's Educating Elizabeth record is a rock'n'roll / soul crossover from 1966; while this month's Rocker's Shellac Attack is a 1942 propaganda record from the Walt Disney stable.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: Michael Greene aka Fort Romeau was a member of La Roux's live band.

Sean Hocking - November 2019
This month I hardly delve into the past as the new releases just keep flowing through the door.
Out of the UK, new from Bristol, we've got Big Chip's debut album of dub album that celebrates the city in all its song titles. The sound is Scientist meets Augustus Pablo and I just can't get enough of it. Talking of dub we feature Peaking Lights giving an overhaul to a new Lee Scratch Perry track, Magik and magic it certainly is.
Really impressing this month is the new album from Frank Rabeyrolles: Australian via Botswana, Sampa The Great and Comet Gain's correct take on our species ... "We're All Fucking Morons".
As I note in the show, it's somewhat bizarre but I am actually taken by the latest from The 1975, "People". Is their newfound anger a scream of confusion ? Or have they eventually popped their heads above the parapet and begun to see which way the wind is blowing. Whether I like it in 3 months time only time will tell but for the moment it's quite encouraging to see them fizz a bit.
Unable to avoid the past completely I couldn't help but include an Italo disco version of Tequila in the show (please forgive me!) and The Human League from 1979 sounding as fresh today as it did then.
Finally, singer songwriter David Novick penned a song about the "Common Tern". That makes us very happy. I sense a 1 or 2 hour special all about our avian friends coming soon.

Thomas Blatchford - November 2019
Thomas' November-based show for wonderful Dandelion begins with a blast of porcine punk and ends with bagpipes playing Kraftwerk, how do you get from one to the other? Well in this instance with songs about cat frustration, the balletic quality of winter sports and Julian Assange being a terrible housemate from Mitch, Please, The Steaming Jeans and Beans respectively.
With voting for the Festive Fifty 2019 now underway, your host dips into some favourite albums from the year by Loraine James, Hearts and Rockets, Moonsign, Vision 3D, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, and a now sadly posthumous release from The Muffs (Kim Shattuck RIP).
Plus: punishing new sounds from Divide and Dissolve, Horse Macgyver, Moor Mother and Creep Diets; a happy 40th anniversary to the debut LP by The Raincoats; and a belated birthday nod to Bruce Springsteen, not the first time I've apologised to a boss for being late. In the words of Peppa Pig: "oh!"
PS: One track has the wrong name ... spot it first and let Thomas know for a chance of a prize

Trev - November 2019
Two hours of cracking tunes this month. The Understudies return with their second full length LP, 'If Destroyed True' is cracking record and I play the song 'Wolves' from it. New songs from the likes of East Man, Eyelash, Bob Vylan, Junior Disprol and The Gonks. Primitive Knot take on Motorhead's 'Deaf Forever' and come up with a compelling cover.
In Shop Corner this month I play tracks from Argentinian composer Lalo Schifrin with the theme tune to the Jaws movie and some bluegrass from a 1980 compilation "Bluegrass Banjo Featuring Flatt and Scruggs" - the chosen track coming from John Duffy and the Country Gentlemen.
As ever it was a pleasure pulling the show together and if you hear something you like be sure to let us know via email or social media!
