| Sean Hocking - March 2021 Daft Punk may have given up the ghost but here at Ring of Fire we are still "All Around The World" whilst they potter off into middle age. A great new remix of Australia (via The Sudan) artist Gordon Kong and his track South Sudan by Andras House. Another Australian we haven't heard for a while, Tim Sheil, provides producer duties for Chinese artist Mindy Meng Wang's "Sleeping Tiger on the Bund". From Italy Paoli di Ciccio's "More Than Electrical" pays homage to Florian Schneider. Out of the UK we have The Bordellos first new recordings for 5 years, yes 5 years. A new double A side single hits the digital stores March 4th and we feature both tracks. I've been enjoying the John Cooper Clarke autobiography in Feb so have dug up a couple of his classic tunes. We've also got new UK tunes from Salem Trials, Yard Act (the fixer upper guys), Swansea Sound & Rum Lad. My favourite tune of the month has to be the latest from the Legless Crabs ... the very noisy My Tattoo. Terrible things are happening in Myanmar at the moment so we show what little support we can by playing you local punksters The Rebel Riot Band who support some of the best old school mohicans on the planet.
