Andrew Morrison - October 2021
Andy's 1-hour October show includes brand new music from His Electro Blue Voice, The Joy Formidable, Low, The Company Of Men and more. There's also a cracking new single from The Wombats (who I last played 14 years ago!); a fab new remix of New Order's most recent single; an Arab Strap demo from the limited edition cassette sold on their recent UK tour; plus, a track with an October-appropriate, loosely Halloween related theme for October from the new album by CHVRCHES.

David Smith - October 2021
There is nothing spooky or scary about my October show. No tricks, only treats with a lot of exciting new releases by Hungry Bentley, Mr. Kingpin, Kunst BKK, Ty Segall, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Toad Blood, Gróa, Actors, Alexalone, and NOISE..
In this month's Historical Highlight, we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the groundbreaking but somewhat forgotten movie "Urgh! A Music War."
But wait, there's more! We also have a Japanese My Bloody Valentine cover and a Russian language cover of a classic ZZ Top song.
Enjoy the show!

Gareth Jones - October 2021
Gareth's October show will give you plenty of haunting melodies, with Halloween-themed songs old and new. Thomas Imposter Records have released a new compilation called 'Joy of Halloween' which includes spooky new songs by Tirikilatops amongst others.
Meanwhile 'Secret Songs from the Sixties' brings you cuts from 1961-1962 taken from two new compilation CDs by Jasmine Records; 'Even More Monsters, Vampires, Voodoos & Spooks' and 'The Monster Mash Collection'. And because ghosts say "boo!", this month's guest taking part in 'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue' is Sice from The Boo Radleys.

Leo Gilbert - October 2021
Another four thrusting hours from Leo in the deeply autumnal month of October. He is tending towards thrash (in the shape of Japan's o' summer vacation, France's Ester Poly and Australia's Amyl and the Sniffers amongst others) and what you might call world music (huge list: Mballa Bony, Zohra, Asnakech Worku, Montparnasse Musique, Otim Alpha and more), swerving slightly away from dance music (though there is still some there, represented by Mina & BRYTE, Gnod, Zodiac Childs and others).
Front and centre of the show are two massive tracks from Leo's album of the year (possibly of the decade) so far: Low's Hey What, and opening the show is a track from a "lost" 2017 album by the wonderful Jeffrey Lewis and the Peter Stampfel Band. There is so much more besides, so do yourself a favour and listen in!

Mark Whitby - October 2021
The wonderful Diane Marie Kloba returns with another exclusive session this month. We've also got two featured compilations, one each from the House of Beauty and Thomas Imposter labels and a load of new releases, including tracks from new albums by Mood Taeg, Zoom Unit and Aries Death Cult.
Among other releases, we've also got a new single from Lossline plus, as you'd expect, a preview of the much anticipated debut from Yard Act and more from the new Amyl & The Sniffers album while Peel Back... takes us back to October shows in 1981, 1991 and 2001 and we say a sad farewell to legends Lee "Scratch" Perry and Michael Chapman.

Mark Whitby on FSK - October 2021
Join Mark as he takes us through another two hours of his favourite new music, with brief glances at reissued gems from the past and a general focus on the interesting, the odd and the unfairly overlooked.
Pete Jackson - October 2021
October this year is especially nostalgia-filled, with the recent passing of Lee 'Scratch' Perry and Charlie Watts marked in the show as well as loads of Peel show memories - expect to hear the likes of Joy Division, Dinosaur Jr, Dr And The Crippens, The Wolfhounds, New Order and Klute, among others.
It's not all rose-tinted glances over the shoulder, though, as there's brand new tunes too from The Limiñanas And Laurent Garnier, Sendelica, Amyl And the Sniffers, Frvits and Notte Infinita, plus there's Morrocan funk from the 70s and mountain music from 1930s North Carolina if you're worried there's still too much new music for your liking.

Rocker - October 2021
A two hour show, including tracks from two (count 'em) featured albums - both compilations - plus new tracks from Paul Rooney, O' Summer Vacation, Ulrich Schnauss & Mark Peters, Amyl & The Sniffers, The Proctors, Red Fox Labrador, The Big However, and All Away Lou.
First featured album is the latest garage compilation from Raving Pop Blast! Records, playing tracks by Groovy Uncle, JB & The Jay Jays, The Basements, plus exciting new French talent Louis Hillsloop.
Second featured album is the latest in Kompakt's excellent Total series - this one is Total 21 - featuring electronica from Nicky Elisabeth, Marc Romboy & C.A.R, and Gui Boratto.
There's a couple of covers - Thurston Moore takes on a classic Velvet Underground track, while Phoenix City Allstars adapt a Rolling Stones standard to their signature ska style.
This month's Rocker's Shellac Attack is from 1956, while this month's Educating Elizabeth record is a brand new release on the Ohio-based Colemine label.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: Tortoises can live for over 150 years.

Sean Hocking - October 2021
He lived to a ripe old age but we're still extremely sad at his passing as he influenced one of the most important bands ever, The Clash, produced my favourite album of all time, "Heart of the Congos", worked with Junior Marvin and along with King Tubby invented a whole new musical language, dub ... I could go on forever but all I'll say is that Ring of Fire bows to the mightiest of the mighty Lee 'Scratch' Perry and the music he made from 1963 though to last year.
Listen to this month's FSK show for a full two hours of his genius. I had 167 songs I wanted to play! In this Dandelion Radio show we pepper the 4 hours with some LSP classics.
Also in the show new tracks from Benefits, The Felice Brothers, Lana Del Rey, Red Axes and something of The Bug's new album which is one of the things that will in the end, make 2021 bearable.
Artists new to us and hopefully to you Deep Tan, Media Jeweler, Israel's Charlie Megira (sadly passed away a few years back) and his take on the David Lynch sound a revelation for me, Maddy Maia, The Mountain Movers and Melbourne's cheap Casio punx the wonderfully named Debt Cult.
As usual we drop in the odd oldie that you might not have heard before and I'm guessing this will be the first time Dandelion Radio has aired a Peter Sarstedt song!

Thomas Blatchford - October 2021
Thomas's October excursion is the first show back since the death of firm favourite Lee 'Scratch' Perry, so there's much treasure to be had this month from the mighty man himself and his numerous collaborators, spanning over half a century. From just a handful of heavy hitters in the Pipecock Jackson back catalogue we get to hear him screech like a cat, accuse someone of drinking chicken blood, and deliver a guide to the Universe.
A combination of listening to dub non-stop for a month, some light head trauma (long story) and the effects of an ongoing lockdown (even longer story, I guess) this month's episode is a bit spacier than usual, but includes terrific new singles from Dianas, Papaphilia, BlackFace Family, Nooky & Jamel, Centennial Gardens and the like, plus the same track played at two different speeds, a band performing their last gig ever eleven years ago, and - why not - a song about October.
