Sean Hocking - September 2022
Thanks as always for listening to Bottom of the Pops on Dandelion Radio.
This month a two hour show covering a gamut of new release we've come across recently.
We've got a new 3 track 7" form Sydney synth punks, Gee Tee who are one of my favourite bands at the moment.
A new US discovery Breanna Barbara who comes across as a perfect melding of Lana Del Ray & Polly Harvey. It's really early days yet with a couple of EPs and one album under her belt but if what she's released so far is any indication of what's coming next I'm going to be a long term fan.
Also excited to hear there's a new album on the way from Irish duo, Rezo. Their debut last year (or was it 2020?) is an ongoing favourite and if this first single off the forthcoming album is anything to go by the second album is going to be a corker too.
We feature plenty of artists that we've played in the past with recent releases including Vitalic, The Comet Is Coming, Salem Trials, Sir Robert Orange Peel, The Warheads (Adelaide) & a Koreatown Oddity.
Oldies come care of The Kids who hate old DJ's - that's me in trouble them! The Monoliths who really don't like Oasis and Belle & Sebastian's Stars of Track & Field, yes I watched some of the Commonwealth Games on the telly.
Oh and I'm having a Palmbolmen moment too... he hasn't released anything new but I'm more than satisfied by the back catalogue.

Thomas Blatchford - September 2022
The Thomas Show for September begins with the beautiful opening song off the new Australian Art Orchestra album, then gives a wave to Olivia Newton-John (via Juliana Hatfield and Zargon) as she disappears in the big pink Cadillac to the sky.
There's new gems off hot incoming albums from Animistic Beliefs, June Jones, Jennifer Loveless and Loveboner, two heaters off the recent Garden Seat compilation, a 2022 extended version of a classic (in my house, anyway) by People Like Us and Ergo Phizmiz, and the final treasure left in the world by Ostraaly.
