Greetings! 2023 is off to a hot start with plenty of great music already put out this year. I have new stuff from The C.I.A., Chini-png, The Brin, Kacimi, Mono Mondo, and Las Robertas. I also have a song from a great new boxset from The Fall, and a track from a very good Argentinian tribute album to The Pixies.

We mourn the passing of the great Terry Hall with a review of some music from The Specials and groups from the 2-Tone era. It is impossible to overstate the importance of that music. We also pay tribute to the great Jeff Beck with one of his many gems.

Gareth returns in February with a double dose of the regular feature 'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue'.
The 1st hour is hosted by the electro duo Battery Operated Orchestra to coincide with the release of their new career-spanning compilation CD called 'We Are Ghosts'.
Then the 2nd hour is joined by guest host Juniper (daughter of WFMU DJ and singer-songwriter Michael Shelley) who has just released her second album called 'She Steals Candy'.
Gareth also serves up an electric array of new releases, from the punk-rock of Iggy Pop to the exotica vibes of The Tikiyaki Orchestra and the steel drum reggae sounds of Panoramic View.

Leo also pays tribute to Terry Hall, following his sad, untimely death in December.
