Admin reply: Of course I remember Adam - how could I forget the snowball attack on Xmas afternoon? Glad you're tuning in: listen out for Auntie Teresa during the show - and have a look in the 'Photos' section of this site to see how her old spare room looks now!
Looking forward to seeing you guys in July - have a great 2009! Andy x
P.S. I'll try to remember to give you all a 'shout out' in my March show!

Just been listening to the Festive 50 - excellent stuff! I'll definitely be back.
Massive respect to you guys (and gals) for keeping up the spirit of independent radio here in the UK. As a big fan of the 7 inch single since the dawn of Rough Trade, I am constantly in awe of the diversity of sounds being recorded on that format to this day. As I bounce around the trampoline of post-punk imperfection, I can still hear the voice of Peel Acres in the wide variety of DJ's here on Dandelion. Listening right now to Rockers November show and basking in the glory of this diversity. I've already voted for my 3 festive fifties, but would have included Comet Gain "Love Without Lies" for sure. Keep it up!

What I really meant was the 1st DJ who is not a native English/American speaking person.....but there are a lot of very very different accents on the station for sure anyway
Hi, glad to be on board! The first non-UK deejay on Dandelion? Look forward doing the November show....
love and kiss from Amsterdam,
Marcelle
Admin reply: Hi Marcelle - and welcome.
Regarding being first non-UK ... Neil Jenkins lives in France but is from these shores but Michael (Yank Sizzler) is American and living there as well.
Have been listening for over a year now (litened to Peel since the beginning - 1967) so that says it is excellent. But (it may be a financial issue, so sorry) please try to cut the interviews as I have never found listening to "celebs" informative or interesting. And you end up sounding like every other radio station.
Best wishes
John Moss
Admin reply: Thanks for your input. Rest assured that there are no financial issues driving what we play or who we talk to. There have been a few recent shows where we have had chats with other people in the music business - for example the Dubsters at a couple of festivals, Rachael talking about Ladyfest and Andy with Decoration. We would certainly welcome some more input about which particular ones you were thinking of - and any comments from other listeners as well.
