Always eclectic, which equals a healthy playlist everytime. A pleasure to listen too. Just makesure you have a pen and notepad handy. More than not.

Just a suggestion - I'm finding that as I listen to Dandelion Radio at roughly the same time each day, give or take an hour or two, I'm finding that the show heard the previous day is playing, or its the next show up. Have you ever thought of shifting the shows more widely - for instance show A plays at 12am on day 1, then on 12pm on day 2, then 1am on day 3, etc. Or something like that. I only ask as I end up not listening to Dandelion radio nearly s much as I otherwise would.

Admin reply: Hello Simon,
We do try to mix things up - for this very reason.
We have a different number of hours playing each month - with DJs making between 1 and 3 hour shows.
So we try to get variety for those who listen at around the same time each day, while still making it possible to build e schedule in the hectic few days before the end of the month.
This means at there is usually a repeat interval of a few days - this month it is a 7 day interval.
I just looked at 1800 and it is a different show each of the 7 days in the cycle this month.

Admin: Phew, a relief to know JJ hasn't bundled anyone into the basement and taken command By a strange twist of fate, electro-whiz Tiga did a 'trance' 2 hour special for the latest '6 Mix', and much to my surprise it turned out not just bearable, but generally high quality Click on 'Link' under my name to hear it [passes sell by in 5 days].

Looking fwd to the reggae binge. Hope there's some heavyweight dub plates on the menu

Thanks Vegetableman, well remembered! We chose that date so that Jeff only had to remember once every 4 years!

On second thoughts, I think it's a wedding anniversary. Jeff Grainger's maybe. Wtf, I'll risk a message.

Admin reply: Yes - Jeff and E-J.
If you post on our Facebook page then you may well get a reply from them.

I'm sure it's somebody's birthday today, but can't remember who. A DJ's wife, maybe.

Well, Happy Birthday Mrs.

In any given month there's always a wheelbarrow load of the new and exciting, but....there seems to be a worrying amount of cheesy trance evilly wafting around the schedules these days!

Now I'm a fan of much 'dance' music, including techno, BUT the 140-150 bpm or so stuff I've been hearing a lot, makes me wonder if Judge Jules has gatecrashed the premises

Admin reply: Thanks for the feedback.
There has not been a deliberate plot to change what we play - but in the general ebb and flow of DJ preferences you are always going to get occasional times when particular stuff appears more.
One change for next month - we will have a reggae focussed show - picking out new and interesting stuff.
Do keep tuning in to the various shows - feedback to the individual DJs is always welcomed by them as well as here on the guestbook.

This is a great discovery, found via the label dying for bad music label which sunslide goes out on.

Thanks for a really great 2011 on Dandelion Radio, you are number 1 on the web or anywhere. Don't let that go to your heads! Polly Jean, the Queen of 2011 too Do you guy's have stickers or badges anywhere for your glorious Dandelion Radio? All the best for 2012.

Admin reply: Thanks for the feedback - and no, it won't go to our heads ... but we might sleep more soundly (apart).

As for stickers etc - we tried asking listeners (via mailing list and elsewhere) if they were interested in branded t-shirts ... but not enough positive feedback yet.
