On my show this month:
Another packed 3 hour show from me this month and as always it's veritable smorgasbord of sounds and styles. As it should be. The featured artist is Ela Orleans the Glasgow based musician – who originally hails from Poland. Showcasing three of her songs from her back catalogue.
Bringing the noise this month there are new songs from Rakta, First Base, Impalers, Fresh, Makthaverskan, Proto Idiot, Spinning Coin and Thigh Master amongst many more.
The Odd Box triple is expanded to a quadruple this month to give you exclusive new plays from forthcoming releases from Silent Forum, Suggested Friends, Nervous Twitch and Rainbow Reservoir.
Elsewhere you can find electronic gurglings from the likes of Ruby My Dear, Katie Carr, Venes, CS & Kreme and Goodnight Lamplight.

I have been listening to Dandelion Radio pretty much every month since it started back in June 2006 and I have been half threatening to record a show for at least 3 or 4 years now. I grew up listening to John Peel in the 80s and 90s and I hope that the music I play can be even a smidgen as interesting as his shows used to be.
I run the record label Odd Box and for 10 years I promoted live music shows in London. After relocating to Cardiff in 2016 I promoted a fair few shows here, too. However, my promoting days are now officially behind me and I think doing a show for Dandelion helps fill some of the void that not doing live shows has left. I now co-run a night which is launching in Cardiff in October 2017 called 'Asking For A Friend'. I have DJ'd for Fortuna POP, the Indietracks festival and countless other indiepop nights in the past.
'Work' these days is my own Craft Beer and Record shop based in Cardiff. The shop is called Pop'n'Hops. Please do pop in if you are ever in the Cardiff area.
