On my show this month:
February already. Another packed 3 hour show this month as new releases are starting to trickle in after the December lull. The featured artist is Chumbawamba, one time Peel favourites, and we get songs from the 80s, 90s and 00s from them. The Odd Box triple returns with three songs from my label - this month we get The Pooches - from a forthcoming vinyl edition of their tape 'Smoochin With The Pooches', The Humms from their 2010 LP Lemonland and Rainbow Reservoir are feature with the title song from their debut LP 'Channel Hanna' which is out at the end of February.
New stuff this month running the gamut from bedroom pop to full on punk rock with a smattering of electronica and glitchy ambient drones from the likes of Shopping, Shrug, CorporationPOP, Heddwch, Palace Lido, American Pleasure Club, Long Gone, Dane Law, Porridge Radio, Kaviar Special, Booji Boys, Jeff Rosenstock, C.A.R., Cheekface and many many more.

I have been listening to Dandelion Radio pretty much every month since it started back in June 2006 and I have been half threatening to record a show for at least 3 or 4 years now. I grew up listening to John Peel in the 80s and 90s and I hope that the music I play can be even a smidgen as interesting as his shows used to be.
I run the record label Odd Box and for 10 years I promoted live music shows in London. After relocating to Cardiff in 2016 I promoted a fair few shows here, too. However, my promoting days are now officially behind me and I think doing a show for Dandelion helps fill some of the void that not doing live shows has left. I now co-run a night which is launching in Cardiff in October 2017 called 'Asking For A Friend'. I have DJ'd for Fortuna POP, the Indietracks festival and countless other indiepop nights in the past.
'Work' these days is my own Craft Beer and Record shop based in Cardiff. The shop is called Pop'n'Hops. Please do pop in if you are ever in the Cardiff area.
