Biography:
Gareth is a music writer, label owner, DJ and vinyl obsessive who is best known for founding Bearded - a magazine dedicated to providing mainstream coverage of independent artists and labels in a high quality, illustrated format. It was available in over 1,000 newsagents, supermarkets and independent record shops across the UK, including WHSmiths and Borders.
His shows tend to be a mix of the strange and wonderful. 100% vinyl, expect interesting OSTs, music from all corners of the world and records old, new and independent.
He currently runs GM Sounds, a record label that puts out music he loves on a format it deserves (i.e. vinyl) and also hosts his own shows and mixes on Mixcloud and Soundcloud, co-hosts the irregular Independent Music Podcast, fills in now and again on NTS Radio, and DJs live at the monthly Keepers event in London.
