There is no show from Simon Hickinbotham this month
On the show NEXT month:
Great to be back and putting together a one-off show for the 20th anniversary of Dandelion Radio. I have new tunes from the length of the UK, including London (Leaf Library ), Glasgow (Teleost), Manchester (DUDS ), Nottingham (No Peeling ) and Leeds (Meanwood Audio), and then further afield from Sweden (Loaf of Beard), New York (Gustaf), Berlin (Jules Reidy ) and Finland (Oiro Pena ). We also have a hard to find B-side and a Cassette-only release from 70 and 45 years ago respectively.

Biography:
When I was in the third year of secondary school, I was told by a "cool" fourth former that if I liked all that strange music stuff then I should listen to John Peel. This was in the autumn of 1980, so I'd have been thirteen. I also remember Peel saying in an interview that if he could get
listeners attention before they were sixteen then he'd have a chance of opening their minds to the range of music that was available should they care to look. This he did with me, and my show on Dandelion Radio is an attempt to continue that noble tradition. I've never done anything vaguely
DJ-like before this year, although I've always been doing something with music, mainly being in bands that get to the demo-tape stage and then split up or hibernate for decades at a time. I'm really excited to be doing this, and keen to hear what you think of it.
