On my show this month:
Inflation has struck again - my show for September is 50% longer! What will I do with the extra hour? How about playing some new songs from Genn, Filmmaker , Snooper, Lisa Pung, Cycheouts, Reuben Vaun Smith , Blanco Teta , Ada Lea , T.G. Shand , Stuart Pearce , Neckbolt , E.M.M.A. , and Galya Bisengalieva . Geographically, we have stuff from exotic outposts including Nunavut, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Dayton, Ohio. There's even a hidden track at the very end of the program. Enjoy the show!
On the show NEXT month:
My show starts with a real dick move - seriously, the first track is from Dick Move, just one of many new songs I have for you this month! I also have new stuff from Tomates En Verano , Leves Passos, Sgt. Papers , Deafcult , Labelle , Upchuck, Gaye Su Akyol , Elaine Malone, and Melenas . What a great year for music! We also have an old song from the great Michigan hardcore band The Fix , not to be confused with that famous pop band with the extra X in their name. Enjoy the show!

Biography:
Hello, my name is David Smith. I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, a perfect place to explore a wide variety of music via live shows and record shops. For the past twenty years I’ve been living in the Washington, DC area.
I've been a rabid collector of music all of my life, with a current collection of around 5,000 CDs and pieces of vinyl, plus uncounted numbers of live bootlegs, digital downloads, and cassettes. I've taken advantage of my world travels to buy records and CDs from all over the world, including the time when I bought a Xalam CD in Dakar, Senegal and nearly started a riot.
My aim at Dandelion Radio is to present an interesting and far-reaching collection of music each month, carefully selected and sequenced like that great mix tape you received from a friend all those years ago.
