On my show this month:
Greetings! My show begins with a tiny tribute to our very own Mark Cunliffe, who has brought so many great artists to our attention (including Cyclic Freeload Unit for me way back in 2011, which is one of my best Dandelion memories). What else? How about a ton of new and semi-new stuff from Ekko Astral, L'étrangleuse, Aluminum, Cloud Nothings, Chikiss, Meridian Brothers, Les Salvatges, Reymour, Dame Area, Chafouin, Tacoblaster, Neva Dinova, Serpent, 1753, Boris, Błoto, Audinjee, O'o, and Meltem. I also have tracks from upcoming releases by Lambrini Girls and Drop Nineteens. Enjoy the show!

Biography:
Hello, my name is David Smith. I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, a perfect place to explore a wide variety of music via live shows and record shops. For the past twenty years I’ve been living in the Washington, DC area.
I've been a rabid collector of music all of my life, with a current collection of around 5,000 CDs and pieces of vinyl, plus uncounted numbers of live bootlegs, digital downloads, and cassettes. I've taken advantage of my world travels to buy records and CDs from all over the world, including the time when I bought a Xalam CD in Dakar, Senegal and nearly started a riot.
My aim at Dandelion Radio is to present an interesting and far-reaching collection of music each month, carefully selected and sequenced like that great mix tape you received from a friend all those years ago.
