On my show this month:
Greetings! This month we pay our respects to Ozzy Osborne, who influenced metal, punk, goth, industrial, and more. I also have tracks from new live albums by Japanese heroes Otoboke Beaver and Boris. Speaking of new, get ready for Light Beams , Kombynat Robotron , BRNDA , Automatic, Leroi Conroy , Nunchukka Superfly , Class Act, Blanco Teta , Just Mustard , Smash Your Face , and Tossing Seed . I also have new archival material from The Motorcycle Boy and an unexpected connection to a certain Canadian prog rock power trio. Enjoy the show!
On the show NEXT month:
Greetings! This month we pay our respects to three more artists we recently lost: Bruce Loose of Flipper , Mark Volman of The Turtles and Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention, and Jim Kimball of Laughing Hyenas . I have new tracks from Sexores , Pete Power, BRNDA , Láz, Dana , Allarme, Chini.png , Bleak squad , Dragnet , 10 Juin, Shagg Carpet, R.M.F.C. , Pearly*, and more. I almost forgot about Halloween, but I have a great Misfits tune at the very end. I try to keep my in-show talking to a minimum to make more room for music, but I do have more to discuss about what I play, so check out my companion show notes over at https://davidondandelion.blogspot.com. Enjoy the show!

Biography:
Hello, my name is David Smith. I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, a perfect place to explore a wide variety of music via live shows and record shops. For the past twenty years I’ve been living in the Washington, DC area.
I've been a rabid collector of music all of my life, with a current collection of around 5,000 CDs and pieces of vinyl, plus uncounted numbers of live bootlegs, digital downloads, and cassettes. I've taken advantage of my world travels to buy records and CDs from all over the world, including the time when I bought a Xalam CD in Dakar, Senegal and nearly started a riot.
My aim at Dandelion Radio is to present an interesting and far-reaching collection of music each month, carefully selected and sequenced like that great mix tape you received from a friend all those years ago.
